What exactly is yourcloud.hosting?
yourcloud.hosting is a managed private cloud built on Nextcloud and run on servers in Germany. You get file sync, calendar, contacts, chat and collaborative documents on your own instance, under EU law — not a shared account inside someone else's platform.
How is this different from Google Drive, Dropbox or iCloud?
Those are consumer accounts inside a much bigger platform, priced and governed by that platform's rules. yourcloud.hosting is your own instance: one flat price per storage tier, no per-seat charges for extra people, and full data export whenever you want it.
Will you migrate my existing files?
Yes. Migration from Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud or OneDrive is included. We copy your files and folder structure across during a low-traffic window, then hand you a checksum report before you switch your devices over.
Is my data really only stored in the EU?
Yes. Your instance runs on German servers, and every sub-processor we use is EU-based. There is no cross-border transfer to reason about.
What happens if I ever want to leave?
You export everything yourself, any time, in standard formats (WebDAV, ZIP, vCard, iCal) — no support ticket required, no waiting period, no fee.
Do you charge extra per person or per seat?
No. Pricing is per storage tier, not per seat. Add as many people as your plan allows at no extra monthly charge — that per-seat tax is exactly what this site's calculator measures.
What does yourcloud.hosting cost?
